Baldwin Trail Report: DATE: 12-28-09 BASE: 2"-6" PAST 24 Hrs: 2"-4" CONDITION: Fair----Good

The rain packed down what we had to some serious base. It's snowing again coating all the roads and the trails things look very good for this weekend. Trails are not perfect but very ridable........If we get what they are predicting for snow over christmas you will be in very good shape for riding this weekend.....enjoy the un-crowded riding this weekend,,,,back roads and 2-tracks have been great riding.....watch the lakes,,,still not 100%

Camera phones take crappy pictures, but the trails look good, the warm weather just packed down the base, there is some snirt in some spots but overall the trails look great

We have open rooms the is weekend.

We are getting more snow should be perfect winter riding

We have a couple inches more of the white stuff,,,,Great weekend riding,,,,,we still have open rooms,,,,49+tax per night for a double room,,,,lots of room to park,,,,,Lot's of stuff to do in town and a whole national forest to ride in...What is better than a groomed trail that no one has rode in!!Nothing!!...Dodge- Cadillac and Gaylord drive less and see great groomed trails and nice accommodations!!!

Trails look great,,,,we had a really wet snow for base and we are getting light lake effect now,,,,you will have some great early season riding.......

Ride from here....... we have one of the best series of trails in Michigan don't drive farther north for worse trail conditions....

Its beginning to look (and feel) alot like winter!
We got about an inch or so of snow last night and have had a steady stream of light snow thus far today. They are predicting at least another 1-3 inches of lake effect tonight and more showers tomorrow tapering off Sunday.
Not quite enough of the white stuff to get the sleds out just yet......but there looks to be plenty more in the forecast to get excited about!
